Weld Design Studio
Weld Design Studio is a multi-disciplinary art fabrication studio established in 2005. Our crew is located in Bend, Oregon with a design office in Portland, Oregon. As a studio, we bring a collaborative partnership that combines owner Andrew Wachs' extensive experience in sculpture, metal fabrication, and design with architectural designer, Dylan Woocks' education, and experience in architecture and design. Both native Oregonians, Andrew and Dylan are influenced by the rich diversity of the landscape and seek to incorporate various patterns, formations, and compositions found in the natural world into Weld Design Studio's work. Weld strives to source local and sustainably harvested materials for all of our designs. We are deeply inspired by the Pacific Northwest and strive to act as environmental stewards through the integrity of our work. Projects completed to date include a range of heirloom Americana inspired furniture, several large scale public artworks, private art commissions and architectural projects.
