Weld Design Studio is a multi-disciplinary art fabrication studio established in 2005 and located in Bend Oregon with a design office in Portland Oregon. As a studio we bring a collaborative partnership that combines owner Andrew Wachs extensive experience in sculpture, metal fabrication and design with architectural designer Dylan Woocks education and experience in the field of architecture. Both native Oregonians, Andrew and Dylan are influenced by the rich diversity of the landscape and seek to incorporate various patterns, formations and compositions found in the natural world into their work.

With a full service design studio at our bend location we are able to design, fabricate and coordinate installation of our public art pieces both large and small scale. being versed in architectural practice also allows for a more harmonious design process when working directly with various members of art review committees.
